A runner supports the service team by ensuring food, drinks, and supplies move quickly and smoothly between the kitchen, bar, and guests. The role helps maintain fast, efficient service and good communication across departments.Their main role is to deliver food and drinks to guests quickly and accurately while helping maintain efficient service during busy periods. Runners also help clear and reset tables, restock service areas with essentials such as glassware, cutlery, and napkins, and ensure the venue remains clean and organised throughout service.
