The Grafton Arms is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender/Server, you will be crucial in creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they have an exceptional experience. This role requires efficiency, strong time management, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards., • Engage with guests, take orders accurately, and ensure their satisfaction with food and drink service., • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils., • Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices., • Accurately manage cash transactions, including handling payments and providing change., • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service., • Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, reporting needs to management., • Uphold establishment policies regarding age restrictions for alcohol service. What We're Looking For: • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with the hospitality industry., • Strong basic math skills for efficient cash handling., • Proven ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail., • A genuine passion for serving others and creating memorable experiences for guests., • Familiarity with food safety regulations is advantageous; comprehensive training will be provided.
