Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and specialty confections Design and develop new dessert menus and seasonal offerings Decorate pastries and desserts with attention to detail and presentation Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen Follow food safety and hygiene regulations Train and supervise junior pastry staff or assistants Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profitability
